babyshoe Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 So after further review, everyone from Vidor predicts a Vidor win. Everyone from PN-G predicts an Indian win. Glad this thread was started. We have gained so much information.

PN-G and Vidor have always played each other tough. Also looking forward to the Vidor half-time show, they have one of the best in the area. You will definitely get your money's worth at the REZ this friday.

Guest JoesBros Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 This is no doubt a bittersweet game for me personally. Being a PNG graduate and now being a broadcaster for Vidor. Im not predicting the outcome of the game but, I am expecting another classice 20-4A battle between two really good teams. Good luck to both teams and I am looking forward to calling this game on friday night at the new Reservation!
pngfan1 Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 It should end up just like Vidor's games against Lumberton and Central. Too close to call, could go either way.Looking forward to a good game and hopefully when the final whistle blows we will be ahead.
injun Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 I have to think with the teams they have played, that Vidor has not Played on a turf field this year..... Another advantage Indians.. Other matchups PNG Offense vs Vidor Def.. PNG's Balance Edge PNG PNG Def vs Vidor Offense.. Vidor run only Edge PNG Home Field PNG Edge PNG Special Teams ????? Edge Vidor

westend1 Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 I think Vidor may have more talent this year, but the one dimensional offense will hurt them in this game. PNG stacks the box and slows down the running game enough to hang on. PNG 28, Vidor 20
Layingemdown Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 Vidor will capitalize off of PNG mistakes to score 14, but their offense will lack against a greedy Indian D. PNG will get their normal offense...about 200 through the air and 150-200 on the ground. Will be close for a half....Vidor gets tired in second half. PNG 14 Vidor 7 Halftime PNG 31 Vidor 14 Final
BMTSoulja1 Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 I hope Vidor wins... this comming from Central's standpoint. That way, we can stand a chance of being on top of the district! ;D ;D

mlp9111 Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 vidor has played on turf this year and they dont get tired or slow down in the second half. if anything they come out harder in the second half

vidor96pirates Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 Oh man if you think our boys are going to get tired you have another thing coming. Just ask Central if our boys can go a full 4 quarters and then some. Your boys are going to have their hands full with that big offensive line of ours... we will see who gets tired first... good luck!

D3zii Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 Sorry P.N.G but you guys better get ready to play 4 quaters of football Vidor dosent give up
badndn Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 Sorry P.N.G but you guys better get ready to play 4 quaters of football Vidor dosent give up That's funny, cause just the other day I was asking someone why every team PNG plays just gives up in the fourth quarter? : You really think that Vidor is the only team that plays a full 4Q's? One thing that PNG does that should bode well against Vidor's big road graders who try and wear you down, is that the NDNs have zero two way players and rotate alot especially on defense. Should make for a good test of wills on both sides.
pngfan66 Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 I guess while were at it !! PNG's o line is nothing to be dismissing. They are some big ol boys as well and can blow open some huge holes for Harmon !! They are very quick to their blocks as well. So Vidor isn't the only team in the area with a big O LINE !!!
Long Tall Texan Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 I didnt know vidor had a turf field to practice on.
Cheermom4 Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 I didnt know vidor had a turf field to practice on. They have an indoor practice field.
Long Tall Texan Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 Ah thats right, i remember it now because it was completed earlier in the year.
