BMTSoulja1 Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 I brought my umbrella (Maroon colored). I make sure I hold my umbrella down so that other people can see. We were scattered out though.
gary-us-bonds Posted October 10, 2009 Author Report Posted October 10, 2009 It is always pretty crowded at the Lee-Sterling game. We had about 8,000 there even in the cold, windy rain last night. It's more of a general complaint. I was brought up with the idea being hammered into my head not to bring an umbrella to a sporting event. Maybe it's just me though. I did finally find a place where I could see, after moving about three different times during the first quarter.

I agree, i could only see half the field in jasper, it is ridiculous plus the water off the umbrellas just pours onto other people

SHSTIGER Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 I'm with him. If the stadium is so packed that you obstruct someone's view, then people should have the common courtesy to leave the umbrellas folded up.
77 Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 Alot of college stadiums dont allow them thru the gate.
gary-us-bonds Posted October 11, 2009 Author Report Posted October 11, 2009 Alot of college stadiums dont allow them thru the gate. Should be this way at high school stadiums too. I don't want to step on any toes, but true football fans know better than to bring them.
vidor pirate Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 i was sporting the pancho/hoodie combo and waders, didnt get wet at all :-)
ThaGhost Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 I totally agree. Hours before the PAM-NS game, I ran 2 wal-mart and got myself a nice slicker suit. Served two purposes, kept me dry and warm.
