dray2002 Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 Weaker opponents or not, we've still put all but one of them away - and in dominating fashion. I will agree that Kirbyville is good and would be a touch match up for Anahuac, but we are far better this year than last season, and like I stated in a different post, the wildcats just don't seem to have that same swagger as last season - even with their brutal nondistrict schedule. Yes they have been tested more, but we are talented enough to beat them! In my opinion, K'ville will win their bi-district game again over CC, then face my Panthers in a dogfight. To stay on topic...no K'ville will not face Arp again in my opinion! Anahuac 8 vs Kinkaid 20 (5-3) Private School Danbury 9 (0-7) vs Anahuac 41 Anahuac 28 vs Tomball Concordia Lutheran 0 (2-6) Christian School Hitchcock 14 (2-5) vs Anahuac 49 Anuhuac 38 vs Deweyville 6 (1-7) Hardin 0 (4-3) vs Anahuac 55 Anahuac 13 vs East Chambers 14 (6-2) Yall played nobody which means "round ball" 1 and done come playoffs!

Guest ~old_wildcat~ Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 No One In 22 2A Football Played A Tougher Pre-Season Schedule Than THE KIRBYVILLE WILDCATS, I'm Not Knocking Any Team,It's Just Facts..Kville Won 3 Out Of 5 (All 5 Teams Were 3A Schools:) One Game They Won They Didn't Get Credit For...All I'm Saying Is,Kirbyville Is A Much Better Team Than Their Record Shows.. JMO .
Lefty99 Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 Arp will win this time around... They should have won last year in my opinion, but they made a big mistake at the end of the game that opened the door for Kville to pull it out. It will be this time around I don't think kville has enough to stay close this season with Arp. Eaglefan01, are you kiddin?? Who has Arp played......NOBODY!!! This game shouldn't been close, Kirbyville had I don't know how many muffed punts last year. Arp had a good team, but the better team won. Thats crazy for you to get on here and say Kirbyville don't have enough to stay close this season. I guess you don't think we have enough to beat Newton either huh? Not crazy just true. and if you google Muleshoe football you will 4 games on line fron 2009. This year. # 20 and # 44 are in the back field. check it out. Good looiking football team. Now if they have 2 differant guys that look and run the same with the same numbers well that's possible I guess. Kville will get beat by 30 points by Arp. You might want to check you facts about the players from Muleshoe. Both Wood's...Wes and Lane (cousins)graduated last yr along with their best WR. They have another converted WR to QB this yr tht is a Sr I believe. Same thing that Wes Wood did last yr as a Sr. If you would have looked at the QB for Kville for about 5 yrs you would've seen the same #5 if you didn't know what you were looking at....yet for 2 yrs it was Drew Hzlewood and then for 3 it was younger brother Aaron. Same number doesn't mean same player yr after yr.

They looked pretty good to me. I feel they will be there in the end waiting on the winner from region 3. That's my guess.

live_4_Him Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 Kirbyville has a new d-coordinator that has two state rings in three state games at Newton, and you can bet he will have Kirbyville's defense more than ready for the playoffs. I take WT and kirbyville vs any offense in the state this year.
ChampionEagles Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 I don't believe WT is the defensive coordinator. He is coaching the secondary I think.
jjspeed8 Posted October 23, 2009 Author Report Posted October 23, 2009 it won't matter this year Arp will beat them by 30 anyway if Kville can get back to the qtr finals. Arp will be there!!!!!
live_4_Him Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 Arp???? sounds like harp and that instrument isnt very scary... actually its really lame
