Which Barbay has the better team? Dad vs. Son!!

Why is this even a thread?  I would like to see his sons take over Newton's talent though if he ever decides to call it quits, but i doubt that's anytime soon

Coach Barbay told my son he will only coach one more year after this year.  Seems he wants to spend some time with his family and he wants to help his grandson when he starts playing. 

I will be anxious to see if W.T. applies for the head position when Barbay retires.

U might be right about that but back when i played for Barbay 97-01. Barbay was allways talking about retiring he even told me one time after the 01 season he was thinking of calling it quits. but you never know about Barbay family could play a huge role in this decision, And yes they will be definitely be shooting to get WT back when barbay leaves I know that for a fact . (Oh yea and to answer your question rebel Newton has the better team there is no doubt about that.)

No doubt about it.  Great playoff game indeed.  Sad that Anahuac is big school and Newton is not or we might see this matchup!  I didn't say who has historically been better, I was asking who was better THIS year!

Blood lines are good, that's all I know.  Hopefully there will be some non-district action coming, and why not?  As good as Newton and Kirbyville are, I think my Panthers are just as good this year.  I'll give Curtis the nod for now!!  8)
