Emily Nolan hit a BOMB against Challengers but it was not enough. Phillips pitched for Intensity. Krista Mayer hit a 2b.
Crush Harrell 10-3 over Mizzuno. Emily Reed pitched a gem . Complete game. The team gave up 3 runs in the last inning after putting 10 on the board. Katye Harris finally got to catch a game and did a good job. It has been about 4 months since she has played defense.

Crush Harrell won this morning against Cobras Gold 3-0. Brittany Moore pitched a complete game shutout for Crush. Play again at 6pm.

Tournament is in a rain delay. Resumes at 6 pm if the weather holds off. Currently 25 minutes into the 2 pm games so it's going to be a long night.

Intensity was eliminated by Texas Glory. Shockers lost to Missouri City Magic for their first loss. Crush-Brown will play the Katy Cruisers in the losers bracket, Shockers will play Peppers or Trouble.

Another team with local girls is Hit Away Gold out of Houston playing this weekend at 2010 ASA Gold Regionals in Beaumont.The players are Rebekah Flores (Lumberton),Molly Randal (Beaumont),Caitlynn Dykes (Port Neches) and Kelsey Young (Beaumont).Hit Away Gold is 2 Wins and 0 Loses so far.It appears that a single elimination will take place on Sunday out of the teams remaining in the Winners Bracket.Good luck girls!

Games were stopped around 3. I believe they are meeting with the remaining 8 teams now to determine which and how 3 teams are chosen to qualify. Ought to be an interesting meeting!

going to be 5 pi$$ed off teams.  So the weather did get scary.  Next time, have the tourney at SK, more fields, more field support, more money
