Lady Bobcats power past Lady 'Stangs in 3

WEST ORANGE — It did not take long for the Orangefield Lady Bobcats to make sure they were still one of the top teams in District 21-3A.

The Lady Bobcats defeated the West Orange-Stark Lady Mustangs in a sweep Tuesday by scores of 25-17, 25-13 and 25-13.

It was a huge night for freshman Rylie Granger who tallied a match-high 23 assists.

Senior Aimee Scales found a lot of those assists as she knocked home a match-high 12 kills.

Sophomore Kaitlynn Henson was on fire all night and all over the court. Henson had 10 kills and an amazing seven aces. Five of Henson’s aces came in Game 3 when she pushed Orangefield ahead 17-8.

WO-S was keeping Game 3 close until Henson came to serve with the score at 10-8.

Henson struck for seven straight service points.
