venom33 Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 I predict more pages than the volleyball thread : i have a feeling youre correct, but i hope not.
spoonbill Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 heard last night on the highschool radio show out of houston 97.5 that it was one of the 2 stars. i'm not naming names.
The Goat Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 Why can't we talk about it? We talked about Jacoven Brown didn't we? Plus i just wanna be nosey
BoboandBlair Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 If they can do without some key players this is a good game to miss. Starters won't play much anyway.\
Guest Silsbee88 Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 Let's just pray that whatever it was, was a minor school infraction and not anything that will change these students lives forever. One or even a couple of football games will not hurt the WOS team no matter which player it is.
venom33 Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 Why can't we talk about it? We talked about Jacoven Brown didn't we? Plus i just wanna be nosey i guess we can but i figured being the super didnt want to release names, im assuming because theyre minors, should we?
WeedBegone Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 Geeze--when it rains it pours. Â But then again --that was last week. Â
KFDM COOP Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 The board has a Monday night meeting scheduled. The matter will be considered in closed session at that time."

hjhawks Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 I vote not to lock the thread. This stuff can and should be discussed and can be done in a way that does not name the individual.
thetragichippy Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 Prediction.........thread will be locked before it makes it to page 5
Guest rykerx144 Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 I dont see it being locked as long as all the post are civil and respectful. As long as there is no names given, speculations, rumors, or assumptions posted it should not be locked. Keep it clean and should not be locked!
PhatMack19 Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 I'm just glad they didn't have camera phones when I was in high school.
tam0003 Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 Well, I named the person yesterday, not thinking and I apologize for that because they are a minor. I think all people involved shouldn't be suspended for the year. They are kids and they made mistakes and we shouldn't totally discourage them. They deserve a second chance. I know that the player is a very good person and I don't think that his whole career should be jeapardized. I don't know the other two personally, but I feel the same for them. I don't think a player should get a lighter punishment than someone not playing sports though. Whatever the punishment is, it should be equal across the board. I think that is why it has gotten to the controversy that it has because the punishment was harsh for one person and initially there was no punishment for the player and the equal punishment had to be forced by one of the parents. I think they should give these kids another chance. This also should be used as a teaching moment to say to students, what might seem fun can end up hurting alot of people including yourself, so think before you do things.
badndn Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 You think people will not know who it was tommorow night? Are you guys that dense? Interesting that he will miss the HF game! Â :
