Huggie
I can't disagree. Nederland may do a little better than you showed. It may come down to the last week; good matchups between LCM/Ozen and Ned/Lumberton to determine the final spot between Ozen, Lumberton, Livingston, or Nederland. sports fan 4ever
Not saying it will happen, cause that's just crazy anything can happen when you're dealing with kids, but that being said, PNG is getting BETTER everyweek. It's a definite possibility.

Hopefully you guys prove me wrong! ;D We've gotten much better Defensively since we've played Vidor. No offense, but Vidor have been playing lackluster after our game. I have picked them every week since our win and they just havn't shown the same spunk they had early. Nevertheless, Vidor will still make the playoffs. PN-G will have a battle on their hands in week 10. Then it will be our last game ever at Babe? Our boys will be up for it. BTW, I have seen PN-G both in person and on Video. Knowing what I know our boys can do, Indians will be in trouble. It won't be a blowout, but we will walk away winners. Write that down. ;D

The Pirates are still playing well, they just need to start passing a little more to open up the running game. If the coaches will do this we should win out no problem! :

shovel
I like this thread. There are 3 weeks of very good district football left. I like (and wont argue) with your picks, but I will say this. District 20-4A is loaded. Anything can happen on a Friday night. I'm impressed that LCM could come back from being down 35-7 in the 3rd quarted and beat Livingston 49-41! I'm impressed that Ozen took a good one from Lumberton. The next 3 weeks will be as interesting and fun as the first 7! One more thing I GOTTA say. The Vidor fans on this board finally saw what I've been seeing all season. The Indians made believers out of them. I do hope the Indians and Jags get to play for the district championship. It would be an awsome climax to a wonderful regular season. There are just some hungry teams left that will try to keep it from hapening. We'll see

PURPLE 4EVER
Going one step further.... Most people have 1 or 2 being PN-G or Central 3 Vidor 4 Ozen (tied with Lumberton at 3 - 4 but would get 4th place due to head to head) 5 Lumberton Playoff pairings with 19-4A.... Vidor will get paired with Crosby (Crosby's defense has been really good lately), Central gets winner of CE King GC Mem, PN-G gets either CE King or more likely B Hill, and Ozen gets paired with Dayton. Haven't studied div I bracket, but Angleton will be on the side of the bracket PN-G gets (if Angleton wins their district) and Ozen or Dayton's biggest test will be Brenham. Glad Dayton is off the last Friday, I might try to get to the Babe and watch PN-G vs Central... What a way to end the season. Just curious... If CE King wins vs GC Memorial and Barbers Hill loses to Crosby, B Hill, GC Memorial, and CE King might eventually all finish with tied records. Anyone know the tie breaker for 19-4A? BMTSoulja1
Ok..Since were tlking play-offs..If you win District,Do you get a Bye week in the 1st week of the play-offs or no. No, D3zii. Central is the Biggest school in the district, so they will go in the big school bracket. If we win district, we will be the #1 big school in this bracket and face the #2 big school from 19-4a. There is so much that can change. No bye weeks in 4a or 5a, to answer your question. Winning district will solitify you as #1 team in either bracket and to face a weaker oponent the first round...
