KFDM COOP Posted September 25, 2006 Report Posted September 25, 2006 From the NWS: RITA MOVES ONSHORE NEAR SABINE PASS AS A DANGEROUS CATEGORY THREE HURRICANE. NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADARS INDICATE THAT MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 120 MPH...WITH HIGHER GUSTS
tvc184 Posted September 25, 2006 Report Posted September 25, 2006 You forgot? Geez. How could I? I spent about two weeks in the Holiday Inn in Port Arthur after we got back in town about 6:30am the Saturday morning of the storm. The winds were still blowing our cars around.
KFDM COOP Posted September 25, 2006 Author Report Posted September 25, 2006 Why did you get back so soon?
