CMurder75 Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 This will be a big game for Both teams as it has major playoff implications. Shepherd (2-2) play Liberty (1-2) at Liberty for their homecoming. The Pirates this year have come to be known as the Homecoming Crashers as theyve went to 3 homecomings and crashed all 3. They hope to do the same to Liberty but both teams want the play off spot pretty badly!!!! Who ya got in this soon to be great game??
OldTimer Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 This appears to be the game to determine the 3rd place for the district. Going to be a close game but I will give the edge to Liberty just because it is at home. Shepherd - 23 Liberty - 26 Go Panthers
Bucof2010 Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 Still think you'll can own our district cmurder?

Bucof2010 Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 Still think you'll can own our district cmurder? In 2a sure Seriously? They'd be 3rd at best
Guest PrimeTime Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 Shepherd loses and thumps the pumpkin early this year. Liberty will succeed against the pirates. Go Panthers!
Indian Fan Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 Shepherd loses and thumps the pumpkin early this year. Liberty will succeed against the pirates. Go Panthers! My thoughts exactly! Go Panthers--Honk Honk Hoooooooooonk ;D
SRP1 Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 Glad everyone takes Shepherd so lightly. Just makes it that much better when they win. Haven't see them except in films but have to say they look like a whole new team compared to last season. Gonna be a good game to watch, wish I could be there.
indian15/16 Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 There is a team that is better than anyone expected, and it is Liberty. Their defense will be the difference in this one. They will score on Shepherd enough to win and their defense will seal the game. Don't usually put a score up, but I will say Liberty 27-Shepherd 20.
How do ya say Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 Hoping for a Panther win , but they will get all they can handle from Shepard.
Guest baseball25 Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 Shepherd best player is out for the rest of the season if he was not out I would say shepherd but I'm going with liberty by 10
CMurder75 Posted October 20, 2009 Author Report Posted October 20, 2009 Shepherd best player is out for the rest of the season if he was not out I would say shepherd but I'm going with liberty by 10 He's been out for a while.
belle-mere Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 Shepherd best player is out for the rest of the season if he was not out I would say shepherd but I'm going with liberty by 10 He's been out for a while. And since he's been out Shepherd got beat badly by Cleveland and Coldspring and only beat Splendora by 9. I say Liberty by 7.
OldTimer Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 If you go by past games this is gonna be a dozy. Hey Belle-mere Liberty lost by almost the same amount to Cleveland - have not played Coldsprings - and by the way lost to that team that shepherd beat by 9. Its gonna be a good game and and no more than a 6 point game. If Liberty puts together a complete game they will win - if not who knows. I will stick with my prediction: Shepherd - 23 Liberty - 26 Liberty wins at home. Go Panthers 8)
belle-mere Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 I'm with you OldTimer...should be a good game...depends on Liberty playing to their potential.
Guest baseball25 Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 That's why I brought it up c murder because that guy was a play maker and you can see shepherd isn't the same team.
CMurder75 Posted October 21, 2009 Author Report Posted October 21, 2009 That's why I brought it up c murder because that guy was a play maker and you can see shepherd isn't the same team. yeah Kevonte was a play maker, but that's what you get with the fastest kid in the district. But, we lost a little bit of our speed factor but with Amad Lewis we gain a whole lot of power. We wont be in many 2nd and long situations anymore with him. He's a tank that could break away for 40-50 yards just instead of 90. I don't think that Kevonte's injury set us back as far as everyone thinks.
Guest stilljacked Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 If anyones seen the movie "Anchorman" the obvious cologne of choice is one labeled SEX PANTHER...Need I say more??? The Pirates are going down...down to China Town!! Liberty must be aware of Shepherds classiness, my sources say it is the only thing that can possibly withstand the SEX PANTHER!!!
PANTHERPLAYA09 Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 I really think its going to come down to mistakes. Last week at the Huffman game Liberty let Huffman score some on long TD passes but they really held down their run game. I thought that, for the most part, Liberty did a good job at containing Cleveland's run game until the 3rd quarter. I think it will be close and whomever makes the fewest mistakes will probably take home that 3rd playoff spot.
rapayne Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 If Liberty stays poised and comes in well prepared they have the talent to take this one.
3apantherfan Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 Three weeks ago i would've chose the pirates but, i think Liberty should win! I just hope they aren't over confident!
