Guest bleed orange Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 As a parent you have to be a realistic. You know what you did as a kid and you hope that your kid does not follow some of the steps you made. So what if they did, I mean you did. We never did anything bad, we were just kids. Why do people think they are holier than thou? Why not be the same person you always are. Learn from mistakes an go on. Why judged people because they make a mistake? Murder, rape, drug addiction, stealing, and all other crimes I understand. But come on. Somethings are blown way out of proportion. That is diffidently the case. I do think kids should be punished but this punishment far out weighs the crime. I agree with Mom on this one.
w Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 Good post Bleed. It's gone way too far now. The school board can step up and say the kids have been punished enough and let's move on. It's time for THEM to do the right thing now. For crying out loud, the kids didn't even get suspended from school, only the extra-curricular activities. Where is the line drawn on this?
