gamoty Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 I watched Phillip Davis in HS.....The comment is true. He did kick it through the uprights on kickoffs. He was an amazing athlete.
The Pirate Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 Most "Underated" lineman to play for the HILL...Tim Jones, He was/is CRAZY!!!!!
Go-rilla Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 I played against Phillip ( great Athlete not the best FB Player). Jabo Leonard threw 8 td's in one game. Gordon Speer was great. Casey Shows, Jeff Jones, The Pattons, and CHRIS Daniels have been the best recents. And by the way all of these guys would have been great no matter where they played.
liltex Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 Jabo could do it all.Best player and could play anywhere they wanted a stud.

Having had the chance to work with Jabo and talking football with him, that man must have been a BEAST! [/quote]You beat me to it. I would say" Jabo" is 1st or 2nd for sure. Bob Steck would most likely be 1st or 2nd too. For female hands down Pennee Hall.

Great athlete, even better person and coach.
liltex Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 Ah,Bobby Steck. The guy was built for speed.Got tired of running track steps behind his.
Go-rilla Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 About as good as Liberty in 09!!!!!!!
raideroldtimer Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 Well I don't know much about your guys' past players, but I'd say Viverette is the hoss on your team this year. I enjoyed watching him play against L-Town, very good, or was that just a one time thing?

Go-rilla Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 Great kid.Great person.. Great Family..Matthew Viverette is doing a great job for the Eagles.
UgotTRUCKED Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 Not only is Viverette a great offensive player, but he had 9 INT's last year on defense, an all-state selection and 2009 Pre-season all defensive team in 4A for the Greater Houston Area.

Matthew's big sister Virginia and Jabo's sister Carvelynne were the best all round.

Haad to have been the MVP of that era of BH football.
