PNG1992 Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 Their backs are up against the wall and they're at home, PNG is coming off probably their best game of the season and Central is the talk on the horizon. Also, Lumberton from what I remember throws the ball more than the Indians last couple opponents which adds a wrinkle that they haven't seen much of this season. I'm hoping PNG has a great start and jumps on the Raiders early to squash any momentum they'll have but it wouldn't suprise me at all for this game to be closer than many experts are predicting.
raid07 Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 Lumberton is finished. PNG will be the district champs. We probably wont cross midfield. PNG is too big and talented and their coaching staff is top notch. We can only hope to keep it from being a blowout. ;)

[/quote]You can guarantee that the PNG D will be ready for Lumberton !!! We do have some great men in the secondary !!! This will be a good game. Can't wait !!! How do you Lumberton fans think the field will be tomorrow night ? Does it drain well ? Just curious. We all know what happened a few weeks ago with the rain and how the fields were.

pngfan1 Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 It will be closer than some think. Lumbertons offense will fare better against our defense than Vidor or Livingston, just as LCM did. Lumbertons defense is not getting the recognition they deserve. Most of their games have been low scoring. I believe it will be a good game.
pngfan66 Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 This game will be a great test for our (PNG) D and our secondary !
PNGFan Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 I cannot say anything negative about Lumberton. This will be a good game and you can bet Coach C will have the Raiders ready to play.We need to come out with the same intensity we've shown the past several games.
LTrain Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 Thanks for he positive comments png folks, i hope Lumberton plays 4 hard quarters of football tomorrow night and makes a good game of it, i dont think they are gonna give anything , your gonna have to earn it. Good luck and drive safe tomorrow night.
Long Tall Texan Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 We will be traveling to meet a very hungry, very underrated team in their homeland. I expect them to fight like they are backed up to the gates of hades. I have had lots of friends and girlfriends in Lumberton, and always liked spending time there. Im going to be headed there early!
NewIndian Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 i dont know LCM an BH threw quite a bit and we did good with them

NDNWarrior Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 I think the PNG vs. Lumberton game will be closer than most folks think. One thing for sure, Raider stadium will be rockin and rollin with all the PNG/Lumberton fans! Can't wait..nice cool weather, excellent night for high school football! Best of luck to BOTH teams!
shorttexas1 Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 It will be close because there is no quit in ltown. Those kids play and play hard. Like I said you cannot always depend on like opponents as a measiring stick.
