HORNETS_FAN Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 hardin has to win this one and deweyville for the a playoff spot.. what happens?
Guest countmein Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 nothing for seven more days. hardin will have to play the best ball they can play to beat buna. especially after what i saw tonight. indeed improving, but still a long shot. it starts from the top though,
Guest ECBucFan Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 I would really like to see this one.
Guest baseball25 Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 Qhat do you mean it starts from the top
whsalum Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 Come on folks, Hardin has played Kountze and Warren the last 2 weeks so they may not be getting better, it's the level of competition has gone down from EC and Anahuac.Buna will get the 3rd spot followed by the Hornets,Lions,Warriors and Pirates.
Guest countmein Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 With better play calling. That offense struggles to move the ball down the field, due to a lack of knowledge and discipline. Special teams gets overlooked, and there are many small mistakes. There's lots of room for improvement. Never take your best athelete off the field is another area I can't understand. It's mind boggling, that the atmosphere is dead. I'm not sure if the mentality has changed, after AP, and EC games or what but this isn't the same team I saw play at the beginning of the year. Maybe I expect to much, i suppose they are okay. Just like to see some changes.
OldSkool97 Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 Im going to go with Hardin in this one. Gonna be a good game!
Javelina Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 I think this will be a good game because both teams know what is on the line. I like Buna in this but it will be close
KDOSullivan Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 Close game, but I am going to have to go with my Cougars.
How do ya say Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 Hornets all the way in this one. 8)
Guest baseball25 Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 Well I'm typing quick on my cell and I'm not good at this cell phone think with key board so that's my bad.
HDcats0422 Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 I'm gonna say buna based on the buna/ec and Hardin/ec scores, but you seen what Hardin done to them last year when buna came in undefeated(???)

But he won't do that, when he gets a lead or it's obvious the win is inevitable, he changes his game plan and tries some different things. As far as taking your best athlete out, he is still very bothered by that ankle, it's one of those injuries that just won't go away. I agree though, it was kinda dead last night, but I bet next Friday won't be!
Hornet Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 Hardins offensive line needs to protect the QB and backs. The way they allowed Warrens Defense to get in the backfield was just horrible. Buna's D-line will dominate if Hardin's O-line plays like they did last night. Good luck to both teams!
Guest LR1969 Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 It depends on which Hardin team shows up. Talk about unpredictable. The Hornets are the epitome of Jekyll and Hyde. I say Buna takes this one.
Guest countmein Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 Who is #90 for Hardin? What grade is he? He's a good fullback. Baseball25, man I can't believe you dude.Give me a name.
HORNETS_FAN Posted October 24, 2009 Author Report Posted October 24, 2009 #90 is a junior, his name is andrew klein.. kid has improved alot since i first started watching him..
Guest countmein Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 He has the size and atheleticism to be a good threat up the middle, and blocking skills are definitely there. With that being said, he's a Junior and will improve. Hardin's Offense is making some good changes. Just need to be more focused on the small ball, areas that get overlooked too much in 2a ball, and I don't doubt them one bit vs. Buna. It's always fun being the underdog anyway. Good job Hornets.

IMO, that score is very misleading.
