PNG Wins this week and Central wins this week.  It sets up very similar to the 89-90 PNG-WOS season finale.  Except WOS was also 9-0 that year.  Not looking past Ozen but the likelihood of Ozen winning is minuscule. 

Bring on Souja and the Central boys.  I think that will be a great game.  I just hope all the players stay healthy this week so Souja will have no excuses when we put it on his Jags.

Actually we have been pretty balanced with running and passing.  I just don't see Ozen D being able to stop the balanced attack. For that matter, I don't see Ozen's offense putting up many points up against a D who has allowed 53 points all year when the next stingiest D in district, Nederland, has allowed 103.
7 passing TDs is a bit outrageous, especially when many of PNG's passing TDs this year have been big plays. We have so many weapons to use in the red zone(harmon in different packages, cody ross, matt desmond, or ryan st. clair) who needs to pass down there?

I think the Purple Pride Indian Band and Indianettes are going to be exhausted after this Friday night. Cherokee will be played so often that the Panthers will have nightmares when they lay their heads down on their pillows after the game. They may need counceling the next day from the repeated pounding of the Indians drums !!!  Lets Go PNG Defense !!! get you your first shut out this year !!!!

They only play Cherokee to start the game, every quarter, on touchdowns, extra points and field goals. Then again on firstdowns, fumble recoverys and interceptions. Sometimes on third down stops by the defense. Also when the game is over. Sometimes they throw one in just on good measure. Other than that, they hardly play it all! ;D

The band will be there. The only question is whether or not we'll be in our marching uniforms or our pep rally uniforms, and since the band directors haven't really mentioned it I'm assuming that they're proceeding as though we'll be in our marching uniforms until further notice.
