bh89-2 Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 I am ready for this regular season to be over, for sure. With as many as 11 starters out to injury and the turnover problems we have had this year, we're gonna have to step up this playoff season big time.May sound crazy, but I am glad we will likely play PNG. I think we match up best with them. Running teams are giving us a fit this year.

PURPLE 4EVER Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 In three Mondays Barbers Hill will be dribbling basketballs.
pngfan66 Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 Last night at the PNG-Lumberton game, BH had 3 scouting coaches there. I spoke with one of them and he said that PNG is not the team they played at the beginning of the year. PNG has made such big strides and is a very well balanced team. Thats all he said to me last night
rapayne Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 This also helps Dayton avoid PNG in round one and the Angleton game would not happen until the Region III championship, as opposed to a week ago where it appeared it would be PNG out of the gate and a 3rd round contest with the Wildcats.
PURPLE 4EVER Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 PN-G will be in the much tougher part of the bracket.Dayton has two more warm up games...If they can put four quarters together like they had in the first half against Galena Park, I can see Dayton getting past Brenham and into quarter finals again.

Come up with something new or maybe it is a lack of intellect. And I guess you think Dayton is state bound. Give me a Break.I hope everyone from 19-4A does a great job and represents well......Goodluck to All from 19-4a the rest of the season and play-offs, to those that will make it.

I hope all of 19-4A does a really good job in the playoffs and kicks all kinds of Arse......

Look back through the posts, mostly everyone from BH has given Dayton and Crosby respect and expected you two to battle it out for the top spot. Enjoy your accomplishments, we're still rooting for 19 4A regardless.

Anyway enough already people, both schools are going to the postseason and thats all that matters right now. Congrats to The Hill as the only team I have ever seen lose three straight and make the postseason!!!
bh89-2 Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 Absolutely no doubt PNG has greatly improved. Does not matter much who we get, with 11 or so starters out and an already young team, we got our work cut out for us. I just like the PNG match-up and the fans form PNG are always fun to watch a game with. Nice big crowds, a learning value to our young players.Trust me, BH has envy for PNG being able and go out and seek a high quality coach like they did.
Jackthehammer Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 I have a little better understanding of the fans at PNG after sitting withem for 4 games this year. 2 words: Purple Crazy.

Yeah its been said a few times, but the reality is that you guys will have to turn in your cleats, uniforms, pads, helmets, etc. before ya'll get to play any basketball. Heck they have to assign you guys your basketball stuff before you can even start to dribble any basketball's. Anyway have a nice day!!!!!
