TradinUp BH
My 8 year old played football this year and was on a select baseball team. The problem is the youth football games are on Saturdays, which is the same time the tournaments begin. Just a thought, but due to the high volume of kids playing football in this area do you think in the future Ford Park could offer a Sunday only league for the area select teams that have football players? Just curious what people think.
td
I take both of mine hunting and fishing after football season. I for one am glad for the break. That being said, I think if there is enough people wanting that then it's possible.
Lazeek
My son is on a 8u team and they have been practicing since the first week of September and have played in one tourney in Houston. They have tourneys lined up for 3 of the next 5 weekends and all will be in Houston. I know that we have a few football players but most are not!!!! AllSportsMom
I think it would be a great idea. Several Houston fields offer a Sunday only league. With as many tournaments that were cancelled this fall at Ford Park due to not enough teams signing up then this would keep some of the select teams playing in the fall instead of just spring/summer.Looks like this weekend may be the same for the younger age groups or there will be alot of younger teams playing up just to have a tourney.
