I was thinking that it was all ready named after someone, can't remember who I'll have to talk to my dad. Maybe the field is or maybe they just have his name on the entrance sign.

Anyway, Mr Croak is very deserving. He has done a lot for all of Vidor's sports.

that is the best name that could be given to the field at Pirate Stadium. Mr. Croak was a great man and Pirate fan.

Great man that raised a great family..Couldnt have been given to a better person..Wish he could have saw his grandson play his senior year

No one is more deserving than Mr.Croak to have a stadium named after him. He was one of the MOST respected individuals in Vidor that I know. His death was sudden and suprising.

In case anyone wants to know, due to how "Butch" died, his brother Pete had a stress test last week and had triple bypass surgery today. Pete is well known and very respected and I thought that this should be told.
