Guest coachacola Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 So basically you think we'll win all our home games and lose all our road games (except for 2). Good thing we have a lot home games this year!
Lazeek Posted October 28, 2009 Author Report Posted October 28, 2009 Yep....pretty much!!!! :D :DDid not even notice that when I did it!!! ;D ;D
Guest coachacola Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 The season starts in a little over 2 weeks so I'm getting ready for some basketball too. With so many new players on the team it's near impossible to make predictions without seeing any of these guys play. What I need to know before making prediction is (1) how healthy is Justin Nabors?, (2) how good are the JUCO guards Roc brought in?, and (3) will any of the big freshmen be able to step in and make an impact? I think once we have a few answers then it'll be easier to predict how well the season will go.
lu cards Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 anyone hear if the red/white scrimmage is open to the public?

Especially when you play them twice in a season.
Guest coachacola Posted October 29, 2009 Report Posted October 29, 2009 I could be wrong but I think last year LU scrimmaged against UTA.

It did not do us a whole lot of good though, other than getting our fans hopes up!
BLUEDOVE3 Posted October 30, 2009 Report Posted October 30, 2009 And I'll be right here again dissecting the LU crew with pros and cons.

TBA LOSSOverall 21-11Conference 10-6LU will lose a lot on the road to begin the season but I think they will win one or two of those games. This team will be a lot like the 2008 team when they started 3-5 (and those 3 wins were against non-D1 teams). The team got hot in conference and went 13-3. Sanders, Brown, Nabors, and Nwevo were the main inside guys. This year it will be Nabors, Nwevo, Custer, Hall (and maybe one of the big freshmen will step up).Dawkins, Hopkins, McThay and Barrow (until he went down) were the main outside guys. This year it will be Miles, Harris, Mathis, and maybe Harper.I guess the big question is will they stay healthy all year? That's something they can't seem to do.
TexasTerror Posted November 5, 2009 Report Posted November 5, 2009 Are you guys counting down until the move back to the SLC East? Seems to benefit the entire athletic program in the sports where divisions exist! ;)
