The Rush the Court website is ranking all 330 teams.  Here's what they have so far:

#311 Wagner - Loss of 4 key seniors will hurt Mike Deane's team, so corps of young role players will need to step up.

#310 McNeese St - MSU underachieved last yr, but has enough talent returning to make a run at the SL East if it wins its close games.

#288 NW St (LA) - Mike McConathy has a solid PG (Damon Jones) and post player (William Mosley) but he's depending on JuCos to fill in spots.

#271 NC A&T - 2 nice pieces in PG Tavaris Alston (11/3/4/2) and F Thomas Coleman (#10 returnee in bpg) to build around.

#270 Texas State - Loss of Brandon Bush and Brent Benson will hurt TSU a lot on the offensive end. UK Transfer AJ Stewart sits out this yr.

#246 Lamar - Lost 4 starters, but Justin Nabors' (11/7) return from injury and Anthony Miles (13/6/3 as a starter) are good replacements.

More opponent rankings:

#210 Rice - Ugly 1st yr for Ben Braun, but 10 Ws represents a 7-win improvement. Should see a little more of a upward tick this yr.

#208 La-Lafayette - ULL has firepower in tandem Fs Chris Gradnigo (13/3) and Travis Bureau (12/4) but seat is getting hot for Robert Lee.

#201 Ohio - IU transfer Armon Bassett leads a heralded class of newcomers that will give Ohio U a chance to surprise in the MAC East.

#197 UT Arlington - Marquez Haynes (17/5/3) moves to the PG slot but how will the Mavs replace all-SLC big man Anthony Vereen?

#186 Arkansas St - John Brady ended his 1st season in the SBC on a 10-game losing streak, which is absolutely shocking to us (tic).

#169 UT San Antonio - A talented backcourt returns along w/ plenty of experience (8 srs & 4 jrs), but most productive big man graduated.

#167 Tulane - Solid backcourt of K. Sims (13/4) & K. Richard (11/4) returns but frontcourt still shaky. Could still reach top half of CUSA.

#162 SE Louisiana - Patrick Sullivan (12/7/2) provides skilled size in a conf that has none. Ole Miss transfer Rodney Jones could surprise.

#155 Denver - DU is ready to move up the standings in the SBC behind star F Nate Rohnert (15/5) and Joe Scott's organized system.

#147 TAMU-CC - F Kevin Palmer does it all (18/5/3/3) but this team needs to learn how to shoot 3s (31%) before making the leap.

#141 Mid Tennessee - F Desmond Yates (17/5) returns to the frontline, but a totally new backcourt will have to be implemented.

Another early season opponent:

#139 Marshall - Herd returns 7 of top 8 players incl. good backcourt of D. Pitts (9/3) & S. Johnson (10/3), but really need to shoot better.

Stupid me, there are 347 D1 teams and I missed the first group.  Two of our opponents, Central Arkansas and TX-Pan Am are in the esteemed group.  Tx-Pan Am is #340, closely followed by Central Arkansas at #333.

I'm still waiting for Texas Tech and Hawaii so it appears those may be the toughest teams on the schedule.

#97 Texas Tech - F Mike Singletary (12/6) ready for a breakout yr , but we're not sold on the rest of TTU to rise from bottom tier of B12.

I missed Hawaii from a few days ago:

#230 Hawaii - Bob Nash is on thin ice at UH unless sign. improvement from 13-17 (5-11) happens. R. Flemings (17/6) has to lead the way.

That's all our opponents.  Pretty soft schedule this year, which is probably good for this team.
