Guest Penny Posted October 31, 2009 Report Posted October 31, 2009 It got really muddled with Livingston,Nederland, and Lumberton winning. You got Livingston at 2-4 playing Vidor at 3-3. Nederland at 3-3 playing Lumberton at 2-4. Then Ozen is still in the mix at 2-4 playing LCM. Get out your Big Chief tablets and a #2 pencil. It could be a simple as Nederland and Vidor are in with a win.... or we could have a 4 way tie for the fnal two spots.
bulldawg64 Posted October 31, 2009 Report Posted October 31, 2009 as of now you have png-6-0 already in @ centralcentral-5-1 already in pngned-3-3 @ lumbertonvidor-3-3 livingstonozen-2-4 lcm lumb-2-4 nedliv-2-4 @ vidor
pngfan1 Posted October 31, 2009 Report Posted October 31, 2009 It will be interesting. But I say Nederland and Vidor will be favored.

I believe these to be the easy way for each team to get in.Vidor Wins... they are in.Nederland Wins... they are in.Lumberton Wins.... they need Ozen to lose. They are inOzen Wins....they need Lumberton to win and Vidor to win.Livingston Wins... they need Lumberton to lose.Now.... there are about 10 more ways this thing could pan out.... but this is the simple way a team can get in. I am even close?
liltex Posted October 31, 2009 Report Posted October 31, 2009 We have to wait another week to see who will play Dayton.Boy how do you scout this many differant teams?

NDN79 Posted October 31, 2009 Report Posted October 31, 2009 What a crazy and exciting district this is! It will be really wild next friday!
pngfan1 Posted October 31, 2009 Report Posted October 31, 2009 I'm with Penny on this one, the only simple scenario is a Vidor and Nederland win. Anything other than that gets complex. It will definitely be interesting. I will be watching this site on my phone at Zaharias for scores.
hitman009 Posted October 31, 2009 Report Posted October 31, 2009 how about a 5 way tie for 3 and 4 spots??? lumberton win, livingston win and Ozen loss??? what happens then??????? all 3-4!!!!!!
GoDogs27 Posted October 31, 2009 Report Posted October 31, 2009 Nederlands playoffs started last week. they just got to handle lumberton next week
modmouse78 Posted October 31, 2009 Report Posted October 31, 2009 looks like that png will be district champs.....even though they are short on athletes.
PFSTX Posted October 31, 2009 Report Posted October 31, 2009 Ok.... If indeed there is a 16 point max on a win or a loss.. Here is how I have the points breakdown if there were indeed a 5 way tie.Vidor- +14Lumberton- -17Nederland- -24Livingston- -29Ozen- -49Vidor would go in the 3rd spotLumberton would go in the 4th spot.
PhatMack19 Posted October 31, 2009 Report Posted October 31, 2009 I may be wrong, but I think the point differencial only includes the games against teams that are tied. So games against PNG, Central, and LCM wouldn't factor in to your equation. Nederland would be +12.
hitman009 Posted October 31, 2009 Report Posted October 31, 2009
Ok.... If indeed there is a 16 point max on a win or a loss.. Ozen's spread is already set at (-16), they would be in a bind.Vidor's spread is at (+15), pending the supposed loss that would put them in the 3-4 4way tie.Livingston's spread is at (-10) pending a supposed win that would put them in the 3-4 4way tie.Lumberton's spread is at (-1) pending a supposed win that would put them in the 3-4 4way tie.Nederland's spread is at (+12) pending a supposed loss that would put them in the 3-4 4way tie.I have seen 2 different caps. one on a different post. Both totally different. which one is correct if any? Can some one do the math and let us fans know!!!
PFSTX Posted October 31, 2009 Report Posted October 31, 2009 Well, if that is indeed the case. Lumberton would need to beat Nederland by 7 to go.Livingston would need to win by 14.The last game would count. In a 5 way tie...VidorNederlandLumberton (unless they beat Nederland by 7)Of couse here is where it gets interesting...If Vidor losses by 16 or more, Lumberton beats Nederland by 15 and Ozen win by at least 16...Then Lumberton would go in the 3rd spotOzen in the 4th.
PURPLE 4EVER Posted October 31, 2009 Report Posted October 31, 2009 I foresee....A special meeting in which Livingston will NOT be invited.......Whoever is the 4th team (especially if they are division II)...Well...There is a very good and much improving Dayton Bronco team waiting for them. What a total train wreck last week in 20-4A?I was 1 and 3...If it does finish in a 2 way tie for 4th with Nederland and Ozen, won't Ozen have the tie breaker due to their head to head win?
SFA85 Posted October 31, 2009 Report Posted October 31, 2009 Ozen's in with Ltown winning and Vidor winning. Any tie between Ltown, Ned, and Ozen, the Panthers should be in winning the head to head......
Nederland Dog 2006 Posted October 31, 2009 Report Posted October 31, 2009 So if Nederland loses against Lumberton (which they will not) we need Ozen to lose cause we would have the tie breaker cause we beat Vidor and Livingston, right?
