It Is Pretty Well Accurate,If Memory Serves Me (And It Seldom Does Now),It Had Been 15 Or 16 Years Since We Had Beaten Newton...Up Untill Last Year
[/quote] The last time Newton beat us was in 2003. They won in a hard fight battle 31-21. For some reason Newton wasn't on our in 2004. Kirbyville was loaded and beat a state runner up Jasper team 42-20 when Newton loss 25-6 in 2004. Our boys had a sour taste in their mouth after realizing they couldn't play Newton.
