triskiadeka
FOOTBALL IN SETX is better than South Texas (at the Hogh school) Level for smaller schools...I am not sure about 4A and 5A programs. I Know the Corpus Area is HUGE, but the TALK here in SETX is bigger than the talk in COrpus...( I am speaking only of 5 years of experience in Corpus, but my 2 here has shown me so much in so short a time). Pretty good in Boot Camp also. ;)Modified---Levias was three times all SWC and All American as a senior. i'd say thats was a good way to break the barrier. Modified again---This makes me the first "whitie" to recognize the first Black SWC and All American from SETX. I love you Beaumont!!! So where's the Karma----LOL
Old61Eagle
I don't think anyone has mentioned big Ernie Ladd from Orange. He played pro in the 60's I think. I believe he was from the old North HS in Orange. Maybe the 1st 300 pounder in the pro.
