AggiesAreWe Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 I imagine this is more prevelant in 3A and down but just wondering how many you have playing football at your school.For Silsbee6, 2 starters, 3 key reserves.All 6 of these players are starters on the football field.

I was just wanting to see how many played football.

Is Anderson and Persohn potential starters? I know the first 3 start for the football team, do the last 2 start?

The Goat Posted November 5, 2009 Report Posted November 5, 2009 Believe it or not MHS has two their un-gaurd-able starting PG White (the district MVP) and a key reserve Byers.They both are starters on the football team. White is a WR and Byers is the free safety.

Am I understanding you correctly?[/quote]When my son was a sophmore we received a letter in the mail stating that to play other sports you had to play football...the fb numbers were down and they were trying to bring it up......neadless to say it took about an hour to iron that little wrinlkle out....I support the fb program but that tatic didn't work....things are a lot better the last few years.

If a kid wants to play basketball, then he should just get to play basketball..same in every other sports...Schools are there to serve kids, keep them involved in whatever they want to do..Even if its just one sport.
