one or two. one got away though with my knife. it had to die though cause i stabbed him 20 times atleast.

I tried to head butt the last one that I killed but I slipped and when he almost had me, I had to bite through his neck but it worked.

Straight up back in my oil tool selling days we had a lease out of Junction that bordered the YO Ranch on the east fence line of a game proof fence we drove up on 2 bucks who had been fighting and their horns/legs were badly wrapped up in the wire.My big Bagwell dbl.xtra forged bowie knife that has a super sharp 12" blade and is 1/4 "thick w.antler handle did the trick on both deer.Question;How can you tell if a timberattler is a male or female?Serious we have some as long as 6'-7' big as your upper arm then we have some that are only 3' long but just as big around.Neighbor said the one rattling the most would be a female and I told him I wasn't hanging around long enuff to ask.

liltex, my dad and brother are on a deer lease in Junction owned by a guy named Tom. And we found a two-foot-long snake in our house. My mom stepped on it at midnight going to the restroom area. Lucky for her it was just a chicken snake.

Been in Junction 7 years and I have only seen about 3 rattlers.  Of course, 1 is enough!

Since crossbows are now legal to use during whitetail archery only season, I figured that a few more people might be trying them out and maybe even hunting archery season for the first time.

For now, I am still using my compound.

Dads is hooked up on crossbows right you can get a decent one relatively cheap
