BOSoxfan4life Posted November 6, 2009 Report Share Posted November 6, 2009 I have no problem with a team re-investing in their team instead of pocketing the money.I think the Yanks finally figure out not to pay for outdated once good players and pay them way too much money. Kevin Brown and Randy Johnson come to mind.They learned from the Red Sox to make smart choices and invest in their farm team. Did they overspend from 2000 to 2009 absolutely. It FINALLY paid off from them. I believe their payroll was 50 million more than the next team.In the same time of the over spending the Diamondbacks and Marlins won the WS.
