The 19-4A district season is complete. Like last year the finishing records were uniform...

Dayton 6-1
GC Memorial 5-2
Barbers Hill 4-3
CE King 3-4
KW Park 2-5
Galena Park 1-6
North Forest 0-7
Why.... Can't 20-4A be as easy. This week the easiest way for 20-4A to finish is with Nederland and Vidor both winning. If one or both loss, their is almost an infinite number of ways this district can finish. What we do know is that both Central and PN-G are in the playoffs and that PN-G will probably play Barbers Hill.

GAME OF THE WEEK
PN-G vs Central[/b]
The PN-G Indians travel to the Babe to take on the Jaguars. An Indian win produces an outright district championship for the Indians new head coach. Both teams are in the playoffs, but look for this game to be intense. The Jaguars will put up a big first half, but in the second half the Indian Spirit will be dancing continuously to Cherokee. A big second half puts the Indians on top and there will be another district championhsip added to the trophy case in the PN-G hall foyer.

LIVINGSTON VS VIDOR[/b]
The Lions were given up for dead until, BAM! A huge upset of the highly ranked Jaguars happened last week on their homefield. If the Lions can come out of the Pirate cove with a win, they still have a shot at the playoffs. For Vidor, it is win and you are in. Look for the Lions to start off roaring, but in the end it will be the Pirates sailing away with another victory. The Pirates win and advance into the playoffs.

Nederland vs Lumberton[/b]
The Bulldogs were also given up for dead a few weeks ago and then two big wins have given the Bulldogs hope for a playoff bid. This week they travel to Lumberton, who still has a remote chance of making the playoffs. The Bulldogs won't blow this golden opportunity. Look for the Bulldogs to control this game from start to end and come out being yet another team that has derailed the L-Train.

The Ozen Panthers will take care of business on Saturday night. The Panthers speed will be too much for the Bears. Panthers will win by three touchdowns.

Bay City vs Crosby[/b]
The Cougars held their breath last week as they barely edged out a weak Galena Park team to win the district championship. This week they host a speedy, but young Bay City team that has only won one time this year. Look for the Cougars to win this game big.

Dayton vs Austin LBJ[/b]
Dayton travels up HWY 290 to Austin to take on LBJ. Big questions still are an issue for the Broncos. Can the defense continue it's stellar performance of the last two weeks, can the four offensive sophomores contnue to improve. Look for the Broncos to struggle in the first half then in the second half they start the stampede. A big 3rd quarter will prevail the Broncos to their 8th victory.

Toups Graphics "Power Ranks" District 19-4A and 20-4A
The Power Rankings are based on how the district will finish and not current wins and losses. 20-4A is all jumbled up. PN-G and Central are in. Toups Graphics sees Nederland and Vidor both being favored for a victory this Friday. That would put PN-G Central, Nederland,and Vidor in the playoffs. District 19-4A is set - Division I will be Crosby #1 and Memorial #2 while Division II will be Dayton #1 and Barbers Hill #2.
This would create a bi-district round (if Vidor and Nederland make the playoffs)
