With the JV Rebels victory they are 6-1 this year and the district champs, all be it that there are so few JV teams in 23A. Their only lost was to Anahuac.

In the past three years the Rebel JV is 6-2 in 2007, 7-1 in 2008 and 6-1 this year. It is the reason that the Rebel program is on the rise and players have been ready to make the step up to the varsity. There are some talented players that will step into the holes that will come from graduation this year.

There are skill players and linemen who will increase the Rebels depth and make them a team that should be state ranked at the beginning of the season next year.

JMO, but only time will tell.
