liltex Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 Dayton both years it was in the triangle dist. That era of scoring offense and the few pts.allowed may stand for many years.
PURPLE 4EVER Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 The 2009 PN-G team would get destroyed by the teams 20-4A put out in the 70's.Little Joe Washington would run at will against this team.Even the West Brook state championship team (which was in the same district) would beat this team. The team Dayton had for the two years it was in that district would demolish this team.Remember what happened the last time PN-G played Dayton with a chance to win the district championship outright...
NDNTime Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 '99 PNG Indians.'00 WOS Mustangs.I'm just adding to the list already going.

liltex Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 The 2007 Broncos represented the dist to the Semi-finals only to lose to state champ LT.
D3zii Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 03 Jags..That was probably the best Defense this area has seen
NDNTime Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009
03 Jags..That was probably the best Defense this area has seen
Don't know how that team is up there. They lost to the NDNs 28-14. The only way that Jags team got in the playoffs was by an NDN victory over Ozen (and EVERYONE remembers that game). I'm not sure but I might have been sittin next to Soulja at that Ozen game. It might not have been you, Soulja, but I know that whomever it was was one happy Jag fan that night. I know for a fact that that Jag fan was dancing to "Cherokee" JAGUA style!
BMTSoulja1 Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 The Indian team that we lost to was a good team. They had a couple of good backs. Our offense wasn't good but our defense was lights out. anchored by Anthony Collins on the line. Had a few shutouts that year.I don't know. Probably was me. I was in the stands that night in the stands on close to the south end zone. Was a lot of us Jag fans happy that night. BTW, I was not dancing to that Foolishness! ;D ;D ;D
Guest LR1969 Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 Have to go with the Dayton teams.

It doesn't say "the best team in the last 10 years." It says the best team ever. Therefore, we can name whichever team we feel is deserving.

akifan94 Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 I am 110% sure the op was not being serious and was starting yet another bash PN-G thread......but the people that have posted legit info makes it a nice read. Super FAIL on your part texans
UgotTRUCKED Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 Just my two cents: It should be a team that actually won a state championship. I mean it is hard to match up teams from the past so going with actual accomplishments should carry some weight.
liltex Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 PNG,Central are still in it.Dayton is the only team in this decade to come out of it.We would like to come back if it's ok?
Guest Brubaker Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 Ned 00 was better than Ned 01. JMO... and they belong on this list.
Thunderlicious Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 i dont buy it that the old 70's teams would kill everybody. You have to remember that was then..this is now...we are constantly gettin bigger, faster, stronger. heck a your average weight on your o'line back then i'd be willing to bet was 210-220. granted there were some unreal skilled players back then with guys like bergeron and little joe and those guys....todays teams would definitely out man em as far as size. Also..your offensive schemes and defensive schemes are probably more advanced then what DIV1 colleges were running at that time.

badndn Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 Best team to ever come out of 20 4A Sorta confussing, because it hasn't always been 20-4A and up until a few years back there were two local 4A's., but I would have to agree that the Dayton team from a couple of years ago would be pretty high on my list. Along with '99 PNG and '00 WOS.
