Any number of games between Baytown Sterling and Central.

The call denied RSS a TD (6+pat=7) Central went on to score a td after the call (6+pat=7) Thus a 14 point swing.

Pats, in fairness to you, Central did have a 3 point win in 1994.  You might be thinking of that game.  Either way, that's reaching back a long way to get on here and say that the officiating is crooked in Beaumont.  Wait until after the game.  If GC gets home cooked, then you will really have something to talk about.

Home cooking is to be expected. Teams that play solid fundamentals and avoid the costly penalties keep the officials out of the mix. That's really what I am talking about.
Real or implied, that's why most teams want to play at a neutral site. To avoid that scenario all together.

Best of luck to the Jags. Let's hope GCM does their part in making this a playoff worthy game.

But this is the playoffs i know GCM  will bring it as will Central..Hope for a great game with my Jags pullin it out..

There were several factors that made the flip home n home
Galena Park was only available on Saturday and GCM wanted to play on friday
I don't think another neutral sight was really looked at thus the home and home flip and a flip for friday or saturday
BTW  the officials are assigned by UIL and will come from a chapter out of the area
I would assume Austin area or maybe Bryan area, but could be San Antonio
So I would not be worried about bad officiating
We should get some quality officials in the playoffs
Less games being played means more quality officials available

Both coaches wanted to play Friday and they both wanted home and home. I was there, i flipped the coin. GCM coach called it and he lost the flip.

No one placed any blame on the officials. Just made a statement that when you play in Beaumont, you better take care of your business and not allow the officials to be an integral part of the game. That's all. GCM does not expect to lose.

As for the game site, Boyd and Washington had agreed to play at Stallworth. The BISD AD stepped in and said no. So GCM took their chances on a coin toss. Lost the flip and here we are. Is it Friday yet?

He'll  be sure to say "hello and goodbye" on his way to the endzone.

You will see the back of his jersey quite a bit. Unfortunately, GCM does not have their names on them. For the record his would say "Allen".
