I heard from a Kirbyville football player his back could possibly be broken either way i am sure somebody that knows his status for sure will get on here for the proper diagnosis but i know it was bad enough to be tooken off in an ambulence.

I was standing a few feet away from the player and It looked very serious. But, I was then told by a bystander (with the school district) that it appeared to be a muscle spasm of some kind (back muscle) and they were just being overly cautious before getting him on the backboard, etc. just in case. I also heard what I believe to be a family member say that "it looks worse than it is". I don't know what the actual diagnosis is but I assumed it was just a case of being cautious "just in case". At least, I hope that's the case. My prayers are with him.

Mona Barbay said he has a deep Kidney bruise. No contact until he sees the doctor again. I don't know when that will be.

I guess that is better than it could have been. I know that kid is hurting more about this than just in his kidneys. I saw him play against OF. He is one heck of a football player and probably the fastest kid I've ever seen in pads.
