Having seen the 19-4A teams...
There is a big drop off between Dayton and Crosby then the 3rd and 4th place teams, the same is probably true with PN-G and Central.
The top two teams are 1st and 2nd for a reason, they are better than the 3rd and 4th place teams.
Look for all four top seeds to advance, if there is an upset....
I think it will be from Barbers Hill and GC Memorial.

Not neccessary, though.  Last year's Jag team finished 3rd in the district with losses to Livingston and Lumberton which were co-district champs.  We outlasted them in the playoffs, which our two top ranked teams got bounced in the first round.  Even our 4th place team Nederland got to the second round...

I disagree. While PNG and Central are strong, don't underestimate Vidor or Nederland. Vidor has some BIG, experienced kids and some horsepower in the backfield. It will take a strong defense to slow them down. Nederland got derailed early in the season with injuries. They have filled those holes and are getting better every week. 20-4A is much stronger across the board than it has been in years. While we usually have 1 or 2 strong teams, this year, everybody was tough. If I were to bet, I'd pick Central and PNG to win. But I wouldn't bet against Vidor or Nederland. Gonna be some good games this weekend!

Yeah But lumberton Ran into Crosby =P

Fun Fact... just thinking back... Crosby Lost two years in a row to Dayton in first round... (both Years Dayton went deep in playoffs)

So without Dayton in the picture Crosby is 1-1 In Bidistricts VS the current 20-4a Lost to Central in 05-06 and Beat Lumberton Last year...

Dayton just wins playoff games...

Dayton ::) This has been the last couple of years, you start talking about past, and 19-4A is nothing. You can only hang your hat on two good years at Dayton WOW ::) Your the one bringing up the past and I'll put our district teams history versus 19-4A any day. Get ready for the beat down your going to get ;D

I'll bite....  :)

much more than 2 good years at dayton! 14 years in the playoffs.... and counting.

How about PNG's History against Dayton?
'98 - 45-24 - broncos
'06 - 33-2  - broncos
'07 - 40-7  - broncos

Can't see the historical forum for more..... but since we're just stirring the pot, I suppose that'll do.  ;D ;D

I have seen all the teams play a couple of times..... 19 4A is better.... PNG and Central really dominated in that district. everyone else was descent at best.  In 19 4A all most all the playoff teams could hang with eachother. but still predict 2-2. If their is any upsets it would have to go to 19 4A.

Compare the last decade???
Dayton's last ten years crushes what has happened at PN-G (and I am a PN-G grad).
By the way...
I still think 20-4A is celebrating the day Dayton was moved out of that district.
After obliterating every single team in that district for two years (except for one hiccup against Lumberton) (no other team has come close to the points allowed vs points scored) the people in the Triangle where shouting, FINALLY!  One of our own teams can win district again.

Dayton can't even win their own district.  They lost to a team that PNG put a beat down on.(and lost bad).  If this thing is not 2-2, it will be in 20 4A's favor.  No way 19-4A takes more than 2.

Congrats on your district championship and win over NS. We definitely know how those DC's feel over here in dayton.
