Why does everyone blame daddy ball! Someone mentioned every player should play 10 plays becuase it is an all star game. What about little league, 1 at bat and 3 outs in the field? Maybe the players were divided offemse and degfense? anyone know time of possesion? Maybe that is a factor. What about just being named to the team? How about cutting the roster back to just who will play, then everyone complains who made it and who did not? How about just not having because adults cannot handle it!!!!

Just some thoughts... How about everyone stop crying!!!!

just becuz u coach doesnt mean your kid should play all the time & get special treatment.football is a team sport & when u involve every kid u make the team better.when the daddy ball kids know they are gonna  play both ways with out having to earn it or be taken out after making mistakes, they have no incentive to give 110% on every play.there is no way the ned. jr. team should have been beaten that bad, just proves you can think your kid is the best & be partial to them all you want, but the truth comes out when you play the game. 31-0 tells me all the partial treatment got u was a butt kicking!im sure these same partial treatment coaches told their kids it wasnt their fault & blamed everyone but themselves. 10 plays in a 40 minute allstar game is a joke, they all got to be pretty good to make the team,& from looking at the score those 10 play kids couldnt have done any worse.

I never said that if you coach, your kid plays the entire game.  What I was saying is why don't you coach and take some of the responsibility that the volunteers take on.  Why don't you coach & get the players you think, in the game.  I know MANY coaches that do not have kids playing.  2 of those coaches were on the All-Star coaching staff did not have a dog in the fight. Some of the kids did not make the practices either - how does that help the "team"?  It's easy being a Monday morning QB and criticize because you would do something different.  I agree.....either help coach or quit crying!!

Not crying at all.  Just saying that 9 and 10 year old kids know whats going on.  There is no 10 play rule in all-stars.  I was in the stands and paid pretty close attention and i am pretty sure they all didn't get that in.  Some never came off the field wether they were doing good or not.  Your right kf'89 all these kids had to be pretty good to make it because there was many to choose from.  Player if you where at the game it was pretty obvious.  Done with this just wanted to express many parents thoughts in the stands.

I would be very willing to bet that you were looking for one player on EVERY play, not noticing every other player on the field.  I know there was not a "10 play minimum" rule in this game.  I was merely making a point that EVERY kid played more than you think.  I did not coach this team at all, however, I do not like it when people criticize a volunteer when they will not attempt to volunteer themselves, but are the first to gripe or cry.

ALL I KNOW IS THE  COACHES,VOLUNTEERS INCLUDED GOT A REALITY CHECK ON HOW GOOD THEIR COACHING & GAME PLANNING REALLY IS 31-0. MY PREVIOUS STATEMENT IS FACT NOT GRIPING.            PLAYER 66 THE ROSTER WAS CUT BACK TO WHO WOULD JUST PLAY,THE COACHES JUST KEPT IT TO THEMSELVES ;D ;D ;D.
