where do you get your information from because whoever gives it to you is dumb and your dumb for repeating it go back to smoaky and bring your neighbor jjspeed with you im tired of seeing you setxsports and so is a bunch of other people
First things first I am a member of SETX.com. I don't recall seeing a mile limit to join. Second the last team to call out our coaching staff got 68 ripped on them and yes Kville it could happen to you. Don't know that it will but it sure is a possiblity. 3rd Some of us get out and do a little scouting and watch common or up coming opponents. Kirbyville fans have bashed Arp sinse last year and continue to ride last years win like a broke down horse. Kirbyville fans have started as many as 3 threads a day on smoaky.com trying to get something going for no real reason. You guys have brought a bad storm to you and will cry like no tommarrow when Arp and Daingerfield treat you boys like the cup cake teams you claim you aren't and have claimed Arp and DF to be. Those 2 programs are 2 of the winningest programs in 2A sinse the year 2000. Good people and great schools. I look forward to the pounding Arp will bring to Kirbyville. I now change my prediction if they meet up. Arp 70 Kirbyville 7. I think they will score 7 on the freshman team when they come into the game before halftime.

Dangerfield better look out, cuz to get to newton theyll have to get through the EC BUCS first.    ;D ;D ;) ;)
We all know that won't be a problem.

Anyways, who does Arp think they are? Arp is only one letter away from FLARP, which is that noisy goo that you poke at to make fart sounds. What a joke!
I have no dog in this fight, as I am from Gilmer, but those boys from D-field and Arp are only as confident and enthusiastic as all of you seem to be for Newton and K-ville.  It's pretty funny, actually, to read both sites and see both perspectives.  Don't let a few posts made in poor taste effect your overall opinion of the schools or their fans, and we'll try to do the same.  8)

Don't know a lot about Arp, and in no way disrespecting either SETX team, but Daingerfield has a BEAST of an offense and I would certainly not underestimate them.  Best of luck to you guys in the next rounds and hopefully we can see which really is the dominant east texas region!

Oh, and Arp is 2 letters away from Flarp! ;D

JJSpeed8, you are really insane in the brain to predict Arp beats Kville 70-7. You guys must be extremly loaded to win by that big of a margin. You Arp has a good team, but Kirbyville have been battled tested. Can you say that about your team??? No, because your schedule is very weak. West Rusk gave you guys all yall can handle, don't think it will get any easier if yall play Kirbyville.

Keep believing WestRusk gave Arp all they could handle. Don't let that score fool you. Remeber it was the game before the playoffs and Arp was already District Champs either way win or lose. Main goal from both sides was staying healthy. WestRusk is however a much better team this year than last year. As far as the 70-7 well chances are it would be a 35-14 win for Arp but 70-7 sounds real good after reading all the mess that has been said about our coaches and players. One thing I can say is Arp's offense is probably the top offense in 2A. The defense is among the top 5 so all together it spells pretty good football to me. I don't doubt for 1 sec that Kirbyville will be loaded and could have the team to beat Arp. You guys did it last year but this is a brand new team your playing this year. Much Bigger and Faster.

You can doubt all you won't. That "Bigger and faster" crap doesn't intimidate Kirbyville. Kirbyville has size and alot speed as always. We played terrible against Arp last year and yall still couldn't beat us. This year you will get spanked for the second time. Don't hide when this is all set and done. No way in hell Arp gets 35 points on Kirbyville defense. JJspeed8 your little team haven't played anybody Kirbyville caliber and I promise you that. Those teams yall played were WEAK!! San Augustine for example, yall won 54-6, Kirbyville won 47-0 with backups in my friend. Kirbyville had alot tougher schedule than you guys thats why they will be a force to be reckoned with in the playoffs.

Whats funny is that Arp have several returnees this year which I'm assuming thats why Dave Campbell picked them over Kirbyville and they just don't know whats fixing to happen!

Just curious why do you think we don't have a clue? And Arp is not as loaded with seniors as you would think. I think if you look at Arp's team you will notice that next year looks really bright. Someone asked for Arp's stats so I will post them for you guys.

points scored:
464
avg p/g
46.4
rushing
293 carries 2471 yards 8.43 per carry 247.1 per game
receiving
83 rec 1357 yards 16.35 per catch
Passing: Kyle Copeland QB 82-135 60% passing 1346 yards 15 TD's 2 ints 522 yards rushing** we didn't;t have this last year** QB rating is 128 (wow)
Defensively
9 ints 12 fumble rec giving up only 9 points a game and less than 125 yards a game. No team has had more than 200 yards total against and 2 were held to neg yards rushing. SA common opponent and Palestine Westwood 3A. SA had 13 yards total and WW had 71 total. District champion Paul Pewitt was held to 104 yards total. Tatum to 126.

Now Arp's schedule is the 28th ranked in 2A. Not at the top but no were near even the middle of 2A. Much less as some of you say at the bottom. It for sure isn't as strong of a schedule as Kirbyvilles but Arp dominated it non the less. Garrison and WestRusk I feel will win this weekend and WestRusk could be as good as any 3 round team out there. Garrison I think is way above avg but will face Daingerfield and hands down DF field one of the best 2A teams in Texas.
well here is a stat for you, the only 2A team to score an offensive touchdown on K-ville was #5 Newton...........by the way Cooper isnt even in the same ball park as Ford when it comes to carryeing the rock, another stat for you in one game Ford carries 7 times for i believe 167 and 4 TDs

Kvillecats if that person was actually from Arp they are just crazy for thinking that you guys don't have a Great Looking RB. Hands down among the top in the state. Now on to carrying the rock comparing Ford to Cooper well don't ahead of yourself 7 times for 167 is awesome no matter if it was SA you played. Cooper does have that beat. 5 carries for 202 yards. You do the math.

jjspeed who is claiming Arp and DF are cupcakes?

I personally think DF is the top 2A team in the state.  I think Newton is the only team they'll see in the playoffs before the Finals with even a chance and DF will (and should) be a heavy favorite.

Something tells me that no matter what a couple trolls may post (on whatever board) DF has enough experience with Newton at this point not to enter any game with the Eagles overconfident.

It's amazing what you can learn on wikipedia.org. Now that's off topic.

Lefty99 made it clear that the Arptiger perosn was actually a Kville person with 2 logins. Don't confuse any of the junk that the person said as truth. Now on to your post as you can see Arp and DF are among the top 2A winning programs thank you for posting that. I am here on this thread to let it be known that Arp and Kirbyville seem to be on a direct path to each other again. As much as alot of the Kirbyville fans want to believe that Arp didn't respect what the wildcats did last year it trully isn't true. Everyone I know from Arp that Kirbyville played and won a good game and the only feelings hurt there were our own but that was more let down than anything else. 3 years straight getting knocked out in the qtr finals is a tough pill to swallow. But we have and guess what Arp is primed one more time to be back again but with the best team Arp has ever had. Arp may not ever have a better football team than the one they field now. Does that mean Arp will win state heck no it just means we feel real good about our chances and several polls around the state including the AP feel the same.

Most people from around the state didn't really believe that Kirbyville would be able to rebound the way they did this year. That is not because no one thought the Wildcats could do it just the odds were against them. I say it is a credit to the community and coaches for being much like Arp and not putting all you have in one season but into the program. Giving each young athlete a chance to train and learn the winning ways of the coach. So honestly from my heart anything that could be said from anyone from my home town would be out of respect and nothing more. It seems that Arp and kirbyville were bound for a rematch as soon as the game was over. There was a lot of smack talked before and after that game. It still continues today between to sports forums and makes for great ready mostly. However I am one that believes that now is the time put all this hoopla to rest until both of these teams can do the work to get back to each other. We know each town has class and now is the time to show it. Agreed.

Agreed.
