Congrats to ALL teams but there is NO WAY PNG is ahead of WB.  Fan base, maybe, but come on!  Central is a good team but no way in HE double hockey sticks can PNG beat NS.  I'm just sayin..............

Everyone said that we wouldn't contain Ozen's speed, then they said the same about Central. Man, no respect still, oh well. I guess the NDN'S just have to keep proving everyone wrong. So what if so and so could beat so and so. Its just a poll and no one should take it personally.

Now onto a different topic. Lets stop the comparisons and lets all band together as SE Texans and start pulling for all the teams. If someone can go to their teams game and then hit another area teams game then do it. Lets all show the State we mean business down here. I will be at PNG's game Friday night and plan on trying to hit some of the games saturday and pull for our other teams from around here. Right now is a good time to take down the walls, cheer on our area teams.

I agree with the fact that WB would tear "Tonto" a new crack, but the Beaumont Surprise, who traditionally dislikes WB, does not think so....

I would like to see the freaking basketball eyeballs sticking out of PNG's helmets had they seen NS.....I mean WB is pretty big....these guys were huge!!!, by far the biggest team we had seen this season(Lufkin, Westfield, IKE, Katy, etc...).

You go 7-3... well....your not. You should quit acting like a scorned kid. It is freaking rankings. You are a 5A team, and a good one. You should beat most of the 4A teams in the area. Good lord it is not rocket science.

You better just hope your team can make it out of the first round of the playoffs.

Look WB fans,

You might be a better team, but in order to earn the top spot, you have to take care of business on the field.  You didn't do this and therefore, your ranking suffers.  GL in the playoffs..

Amazing! Is there a thread that people don't hate on PNG on this site? WB you had a great regular season..who gives a crap what the enterprise ranks you? That doesn't get you any points in the playoffs.All that matters is what you do in the playoffs. I went to almost every game in 1982 as WB captured the state title, including the Finals against Hurst Bell in the dome. I cheered fro WB as hard as I would have for PNG. Friday I was happy for WB when they knocked off NS. I will be pulling for WB and ALL the local teams in the playoffs. Lets put away the petty crap and get on with letting the state know what SE Texas football is about!
