Hoops, don't try to down play Navasota, I saw you only lost two seniors.  ;) Stafford must be pretty good to have beat ya'll. Oragefield plays them this year, too.

Stafford is very good...very athletic.  Correct...lost only 3 seniors from last years 31-7 team.  However....if you do not play ANY over the summer....or compete to get better....chances are....you won't improve.  I'm afraid we are learning that lesson the hard way. We'll get better by the time playoffs roll around.  Just hope it is NOT too late!!!  And-- the sad part---won't ever be as good as we should be!!!

You have to spend time in the gym to be a good basketball player!!!

Awesome game by both teams, congrats to the Lady Stangs on the win.  WOS has a unbelievable PG and they are tall and rebound very well.  The Lady Pirates were down by 13 pts and fought back and still had a chance at the end of the game with final shot to tie or win the game, gutsy game, these are the type of games that will benefit both teams come district play.
