Bobkat Posted November 13, 2009 Report Posted November 13, 2009 Should be a good game, from what I'm hearing Lumberton shoots the ball well and is very scrappy. Orangefield is very young with only one senior on the team and will have to replace 3 all district players from last years district champion. I think Orangefield will have some bumps in the road early in the season but by the time district starts should be playing pretty well. Getting in basketball shape is the key for our kids because of the way we play, and that's going to take a while. But with that said I think Orangefield wins a very close game...Orangefield 52Lumberton 48
cardinal#18 Posted November 13, 2009 Report Posted November 13, 2009 i have seen lumberton play and they arent easy to beat, but i havent seen orangefield soi can really say much but lumberton has my vote :-\
Bobcat1 Posted November 13, 2009 Author Report Posted November 13, 2009 Bobkat, you think we will score 50 points in our first game?
slick74 Posted November 13, 2009 Report Posted November 13, 2009 Lumberton is young as well. They have 6 soph, 2 junior, and 3 seniors.I have seen them play and the soph, and juniors are very good.Looks like the future could be good for the next 2-4 years with a talentedfreshman team this year.Lumberton 48Orangefield 44
Bobkat Posted November 13, 2009 Report Posted November 13, 2009 Both teams are young then, Orangefield has...1-Senior4-Juniors3-Soph's2-FreshmenShould be a good one...and I hope we can hit the 50 mark tonight!!!
Guest bleed orange Posted November 14, 2009 Report Posted November 14, 2009 This game was never close. Orangefield took control from the tip off and never looked back.
