I think he is stating that the perception that 19-4A was weak is false. These two districts are pretty close in strength.

How you figure?  The Eagles gave them all they could handle and with the Indians scoring after an interception on the Eagle 14 with about 2-1/2 minutes left for their 3rd score, doesn't sound like an old fashioned beating to me.  Win, absolutely!!!  Beating... Hardly!!
