sticky Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Outdoor writer Bink Grimes played football, basketball and baseball at Barbers Hill. He was drafted out of high school by the Yankees. http://www.binkgrimesoutdoors.com/
BH89 Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 I went to school with Bink. He was 1 or 2 years behind me. He was a heck of a baseball player, even in little league. He and classmate Jimmy Badgent have both made a name for themself in the outdoors. I would love to be able to make my living fishing and hunting.

It is kind of ironic he was really not the outdoor type in school. He really did not pursue it as you would think in his younger years. Unlike me I was after it every chance I had. Oh well I guess I'll just stick to guiding and training retrievers. What is that goof ball Badgent doing now? I have not seen him in years. David Davis is another that is doing the outdoor thing. I think he has something going with trail cams.
bh89-2 Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 Badget is writing the outdoor report for the Bay City newspaper. Yes Bink was not the outdoorsman then. David is no longer building cameras. Yeah Giddings......!!!!!
