This move is so devastating for the these kids.  I am so happy that Jake decided to go ahead and move to Lamar this year and get out from under all this uncertainty.  We just had a really bad feeling about the future of this program and it turns out we were right.  I just hate it for these kids, especially the juniors who will be seniors in 2011.

Centenary College is also dropping down to D3 in a few years.  I wonder if any other Louisiana schools are in danger, like Nicholls State?

There used to be an arrogant UNO fan that would post on the Sun Belt message board about 12-15 years ago back when Lamar was in the that conference.  He was as bad as TT is today.  I bet he is on 24 hour watch with this announcement.
