J'Covan Brown

Jai is a PG that got moved off the ball for Nick Calathis.  That is why he transferred... He wanted to run point not 2-guard.  However... I still have a hard time seeing Jai start.  With Balbay, Brown, and Jai it makes  it hard on Barnes.  And I think he should move Hamilton into the starting line-up!!!  So we would have

[/quote]Hmm! I heard the same thing. It seems the alums wanted to groom Nick for the NBA. Jai is homegrown from Texas with no connections to the alums (just what was told to me).

Well if you have two top PGs with similar skill sets and one is 5'8" and the other is 6'6" who would you start?  Jai showed how good he was by still collecting a starting spot.  They could have easily move him to the bench as Calathis' back-up, but he kept a starting spot!
