I agree. A bye means nothing, that's why I pointed it out. On the other hand, I suspect the 23aa schools would rather have played last week than have to sit it out.

I would only consider Kirbyville and Newton tough.  As far as the district as a whole is concerned, it is very weak.  Hemphill has to return to their late 90s and early 2000s form, and Woodville needs to become more consistent for this to be the toughest district in the state.
