LumberCard Posted November 21, 2009 Report Posted November 21, 2009 Lmar falls in four to Texas State. Story of the season for Lamar in how they lost. Had leads in the third and fourth sets with the set and match on the line, but could not find enough to finish off the Bobcats. The seniors on this team had a great four year run, but I think they left too much on the floor as a whole this season. They have more talent than Texas State, but couldn't muster the winning points when it was all on the line.Great job getting LU volleyball back as one of the best in the conference. The groundwork has been laid by the last two senior classes, now its time for the youngsters to continue the momentum in the future. With what they return, I think Lamar will be a much more mentally tough team next year.
