Going undefeated in district makes it tough not to win a few votes.  Shepherd had a good season.  Just missed the playoffs or he might gotten more consideration.

Yeah I know, but with Shepherd only winning 2 games in the past 3 years and now going 5-5 or 6-4 (because Magnolia West had to forfiet win) and being known as a talentless town as even the old coaches said we had no talent before they left. I just think he accomplished so much more with so much less than say Cleveland or Coldspring.

I understand what youre saying, but traditionally, whoever wins district gets coach of the year. Not saying its right, but USUALLY thats how it goes.

Yes, that shoould have been Terrance Goodman from Liberty.  He had a good year. I thought the two next to him had a good year as well.

Dude, Shepherd beat Liberty, Tarkington, and Splendora, he's not getting coach of the year for that.  I agree they did much better than in the past but be realistic!
