Assuming that Travis will start the two football players, Hill and Lane( they did not start Tuesday night ), this will be the Tigers starting lineup:

'5"9 Hill
'6"3 Lane
'6"4 Stallworth
'6"7 Thomas
'6"8 Jones

When I spoke with coach he said the Ozen game might be his first appearence

Hill and Lane did not look to shaby at the Kelly game but Hill hurt his hand and skipped the 4th quarter

Hey what about Bolton I remember watching him at the end of last season?
Bolton could run up the court for a lay-up duck that head and cream anybody in his way  :D

I figured JJ would probably miss this game. Turf toe needs time to heal. We should see him next Tuesday night against Ozen.

As for Bolton, he will not be playing basketball and I'll leave it at that.

I expect Hill and Lane to start against Kountze.

I didn't see Whisenant in your starting 5 for Kountze.He started against HJ and he is the Lions 3rd best player.I've watched all these kids for years and he is one of the most consistant players Kountze has.Size favors the Tigers but the Lions play way above the rim.I think Kountze wins this early season game.Silsbee would win it a few weeks down the road but Kountzehas had more prep time and wins by 6.

Kountze has one pretty descent player off the bench in Whisenant, he can score. The other three players are very small, tallest being about '5"6, one's a three point specialist Linn, who can't be more than '5"4, which would be a defensive mismatch with most of Silsbee's players. Kountze does all their damage with their top 6 players.

Whisenant Started for Johnson in the HJ game and played well not committing turnovers and taking the ball to the basket... I think he should start against Silsbee to take it at their big man and we have sumbody down there he can drop it off to as well... Key to this game is for McDaniel to get the ball to the wings and let Roman and Whisenant do what they do... Kountze dont turn the ball over like last week and they win if Silsbee gets Turnovers and on offense gets the big boys in Foul Trouble they win.

Great win for Kountze........I have said that they would win district and I think that they will win Regionals as well!!!!!  Also hope they win State!!!!  But just remember that HJ did come into Kountze and take you down!!!!

Basketball season has just kicked off for crying out loud!!!

Kountze is the best team in Hardin County.I don't sound like him, I just agree with him. He said H-J would lose if Central slowed it down.they have no shooters. Just Turner.they put a real good unit in at the beginning of the 4th. They tied the game up then Sutherland put the shooters back in. After that Central went up by 10 again. Thanx for whoever made that decision. That determined the game. Ktz win, and H-J lose.Last Fri is the past. Were gonna enjoy our win tonite and let Central enjoy their Hawk meat tonite...lmao
