UgotTRUCKED Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 Way to go Broncos! 19-4A getting deeper in the playoffs. Now it's your turn Crosby. Let's keep it rolling.
Guest falcon83 Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 Saw the highlights on tv and Franks ran in the winner huh? Is that the kid from Crosby?
bandgeekforlife Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 These guys played with A LOT OF HEART. Way to reach deep within and BELIEVE!!!!!!!Unbelievable game play! Hawkeye Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 Wow! What a game! Congrats go out to the Broncos. Defense started a little slow but dominated the rest of the way. Great adjustments and a great effort. I guess somebody forgot to tell this team they're not supposed to go this far! Let me give a shout out to the fans as well. Great crowd tonight. That was a 7000 seat visitor side. Had to be 6000 there. This team deserves the support!
PURPLE 4EVER Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 ALWAYS BELIEVEGreat game by the Broncos...Would love to see the 2nd half stats.Dayton totally shut down El Campo. Will try to get the highlights up tomorrow.Got to be proud of all the kids at Dayton!Never giving up and ALWAYS BELIEVING they would pull it out!
ryannygaard Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 I was at the game, they didn't shut them down in the first half, second half yes. Good game to watch, now good luck against Angleton.
7mary3 Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 Great game and great win for the defense. El Campo is a scrappy lil'ball club. By the way, I hate that pass play behind the line of scrimmage, HATE IT! Gutsy call by Stewart to kick the field goal on short and inches. That's why he gets paid the big bucks.
bh89-2 Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 Fun game to watch tonight. Dayton, you better play your better QB for the majority of 4 quarters. Just my opinion and nothing against #10, but that's a lot of pressure to put on a youngster and he does not have the running skills or size that P. has. Man wished I could have that running back for El Campo for a few years.....what a stud. Have very fast kids over there too.

HDcats0422 Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 Helluva a game to watch! I got there halfway through the first at Dayton was down 13-0, they played great ball the whole time I was there. On that 4th and inches I was saying "let ploch qb sneak for a yard and run the clock down" but the coach knows his team and has confidence in his kicker and defense! Great game guys!
BrenhamFan Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 Hey rjn, don't count us out yet....your ready to crown Angleton, when they still have a battle to fight at 2 tomorro. Ya were underdogs, but we were last week too...we'll be ready!
rollinac Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 Having one less day certainly showed in the first quarter. Looked a little lethargic on defense letting them bust the two big plays early. The defense came back to normal after that and El Campo couldn't get anything going. Their defense played really well and their special teams had us pinned back most of the night and them starting around the 40 on every drive. Missed some big plays on some uncharacteristic bad throws but made some really good throws as well. In the end, too many weapons for the Dayton offense. El Campo really limited the big play and they played a heck of a defensive game but the Broncos really dominated the second half and the 4th quarter. The O-line really started to play in the second half. Survive and advance.

rollinac Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 Haha....it worked pretty well when we threw it to AJ Dugat!!!

rollinac Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 It did get that linebacker outside on the slot guy and that's when the running game starting rolling.

rollinac Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 Their defense was pretty stout....don't usually run into teams that are as athletic as we are but they were....well almost anyway. Yea one dimensional for sure....and the pass interference....cmon man that's a no call in my book on a jump ball but whatever.
rapayne Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 Can ya say barn burner baby? WOW WOW WOW and WOW!!!

rollinac Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 Heck yea it was....I had a bad feeling about this game earlier today but it turned out to be wrong.

I saw it too but thought it was ticky-tack. A jumpball into double coverage and you call pass interference??? That pass had 5 second hangtime.
