BHFAN Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Dayton-55 Lumberton-7 I don't know if we will see another Lumberton poster after this week
The Voice Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Lumberton not walking on water any more.
Matt Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Turn out the lights, the parties over M. Dugat had a monster hit on a kickoff or punt return, can't remember which, but anyway he laid this guy OUT with a block, that guy never seen it coming, but he felt it
Guest PurplePride Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Well, they didn't have their game on and Dayton did. It was fun at first but then it kind of got sad. Those type games aren't really fun. I am sure they are to the winning players but as a fan in the stands...your heart starts hurting for the other team. We have been there done that and been the other team against Nederland back in, ugh, let me think, actually I tried to forget it, ha!, it was 2003 maybe? It was playoffs and it was SAD! So I have a heart! There was a couple of flags we got that we deserved from unsportsmanlike conduct that were embarrassing, and I assure you that our coaches DO NOT CONDONE THAT! I also would have liked our 2nd and 3rd string to get a little more playing time since the score was so high...but then again...that is why my rearend is in the stands and not on the field because I probably do not know what I am talking about! Lumberton, hold your head high! You never stopped giving it your all and that takes true integrity! Your day will come! I respect you and admire you for loving the game!
Matt Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Our 2nd string Q.B. played the whole game, the 3rd quarter m. dugat was playing receiver.
bronco1 Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Cody isn't 2nd string, but alot of other kids did play that don't normally. We weren't about to let Lumberton score 3 or 4 TD's at the end of the game. The defense worked to hard to keep them off the board. L-Town wasn't gonna let up. So we didn't.
Matt Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 I thought Andrew Thomas was the starting Q.B. #4 ?????
piratefan Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 I know a certain pirate' date=' who is gonna love this score.[/quote'] who would that be??? Where is L-town stunner??????????????????????????????????
