riverhorn Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 My dad lives in Cuero and I follow them pretty closely. They have a D-1 QB/Punter in Tyler Arndt and probably the best or at least top two soph. rb in the State, Trent Jackson. He has about 2,300 + yards rushing on the season and had 1,700+ as a freshman starting on varsity last year.As far as the games goes, Cuero's defense gives up lots of points, even to mediocre teams. I look for Gilmer 45-17 or so. Cuero may score some points, but I just do not see them keeping up with Gilmer, which should score at will. For anyone going, the Jackson kid is seriously special. Gonna be fun to watch him improve and grow.
KFDM COOP Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 Should be a great game. Gilmer CAN be beat and Cuero could do it.
rollinac Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 Cuero is a traditional power and is always tough. I think they take this one from Gilmer.
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted November 29, 2009 Report Posted November 29, 2009 upset special. I got Cuero
Newtonjb Posted November 30, 2009 Report Posted November 30, 2009 Cuero over Gilmer in a slugfest......28 to 24
WOSgrad Posted November 30, 2009 Report Posted November 30, 2009 I like the guys from Cuero, but Gilmer is once again too tough. The Buckeyes win in a squeeker.
