Lazeek Posted November 29, 2009 Report Posted November 29, 2009 Nabors having huge firsþ half!!! LU leading 23-15 with 11 left!! Nabors has at least a dozen!! Ashton Hall played for one minute and reinjured his left knee and is likely done for season after one minute of play!!!
Lazeek Posted November 29, 2009 Author Report Posted November 29, 2009 Lamar looking decent tonight but let a double digit lead get down to 6 at half.....37-31 LU!!!
Guest falcon83 Posted November 29, 2009 Report Posted November 29, 2009 Go Cards. ;D Gonna try to get over after the break and watch some games with junior. My kid transferred to Lamar from Gig"em and really likes the skewl.
Gtj007 Posted November 29, 2009 Report Posted November 29, 2009 This Lamar team must be REAAAAALLY BAD!!!
Guest coachacola Posted November 29, 2009 Report Posted November 29, 2009 LU losing 55-51 and only shooting 40%. This is going to be a long year.
Javelina Posted November 29, 2009 Report Posted November 29, 2009 Lamar wins 74-73!!!Justin Nabors 21 ptsAnthony Miles 15 ptsReggie Mathis 13 ptsCharlie Harper 14 pts
UNLV Posted November 29, 2009 Report Posted November 29, 2009 I'm speechless. I thought it was over when they were down by 8 late in the game.
Lazeek Posted November 29, 2009 Author Report Posted November 29, 2009 I left about the time that they went down 8.........glad to hear it on the radio on the way home!!!!! Great win against a long and athletic team!!!
Lazeek Posted November 29, 2009 Author Report Posted November 29, 2009 BTW Coach Roc said that there is nothing they can do for Ashton and they will get him ready to play when he can again.
Guest coachacola Posted November 29, 2009 Report Posted November 29, 2009 Nabors and Harper each had a double-double. It seems like every game at least one player has one. Miles almost had another kind of double-double: 15 points and 9 assists. Harris is still in a shooting slump but Mathis is beginning to shoot the ball well. It's disappointing the Hall is hurt again, especially since Nwevo and Custer are underwhelming. What's the deal with Stan Brown? He was playing every game and now he's not playing at all? One of the big guys needs to step up and start contributing, Nabors and Harper can't do it all inside.
Guest mffl Posted November 29, 2009 Report Posted November 29, 2009 It was a great win. I actually saw a team on the court. It was rough at times, but Miles was the playmaker he needed to be and guys made plays.

SELA had 556, SFA had 1389, McNeese had 683 against rival ULL, and 5-1 UTSA only had 1020. LU would easily average 5,000 or more if they could consistently have 20+ win seasons.
Lazeek Posted November 29, 2009 Author Report Posted November 29, 2009 This is the type of game that could bring the "team" together more!!!! Not saying that they will go to Denver or Hawaii and win but the odds are better after getting a win last night!!! If they had lost last night it would have been 5 in a row and likely would have been 7 in a row by next weekend!!!
