DP#1FAN Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 I take it they are serious about winning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol
SeTxTigers15 Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 Wow!! That would make a lot of colleges jealous! :o :o

Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 wow some colleges dont have these facilities. :o
pngfan1 Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 First class all the way, I know a couple of brothers who moved there from PNG who are in the program. Two good athletes, wish we still had em here.
The Goat Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 That weight room is freaking hot, that's where it all starts!!
mikehoncho Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 it really makes you wonder how, regardless of classification, inner-city schools or tiny towns w/ minimal budgets will ever compete with that NCAA Division I-esque facility...I'm not talking about "Remember the Titans" style sentimental victories...but consistently, year-in/year-out...these kids have a decided advantage!it's awesome, don't get me wrong...
NorthoftheBorder Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 Its a great recruiting tool. In team sports, if you do things right, you can win. It doesn't take this good of a facility to get it done. Newton being a good example in our own back yard. But make no mistake, poeple want to be associated with winners so people with means will move there kids to a program like LT or Southlake so they can have that championship experience.

[/quote]my point exactly...it's not college football these programs amass talent and have it stockpiled there, creating perennial powerhouses...just an observation...i agree that any program can win at any given time, and they do so every year...look at Dayton v. SS last year...both small towns w/ great kids and coaching...but I feel there should be some system of checks and balances to ensure that all kids get an equal shake...that's all
